Arturo Montoto gives the collection a refined and intellectually structured Cuban voice. A painter, engraver, and photographer who graduated from the Surikov Institute in Moscow specialising in mural painting, his work transforms everyday objects into metaphysical events — architecture, fruit, walls, domestic space, and dramatic light become carriers of memory and symbolic pressure.
